ginger snaps

cream together:
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg

add to creamed mixture:
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves

mix all ingredients in order.  roll into walnut size balls, roll balls in sugar.  baking in 350 degree over for 10 minutes or until the top of the cookies crack.
